Hi, i baught my Huawei P8 Lite about 4 months ago. Changed from my samsung S4 to this phone. Its by far the worst phone regarding Data usage? all 3 of my friends have the same phone as i do and have the same problem. I have restricted back-round data and all sorts. I baught 1GB on Saturday morning and this morning i have 188MB left. i haven't opened any apps but whatsapp. PLEASE HELP - its so expensive. How can i make the data usage less?

P8 lite is a very good and reliable mobile phone in terms of price, durability, Camera quality, Guest mode, Battery time (not on 3G/4G), Signal strength etc. The only problem with the handset is that its not Full HD means picture resolution is not good.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2016Samsung j5 or huvawei p8 lite??? I m facing the same situation n need quick advice in one hour..Galaxy J5 is only has 1,5 GB. The P8 lite ALE-L21 comes with 2 GB. I would recommended P8 lite ALE-L21, beside 2 GB RAM, it has double tap to wake feature. Samsung Galaxies never use that feature in default.

The phone is crab. It is so bad that my 8 year old son refuses to give me his iPhone 4s in its exchange. 1st the battery does not last as long as they claim. I use it as a second phone but it last 1/2 as long as my iPhone 6s last. I would be lucky if it lasts for 1 day. and this is with it being in my bag and not in use. When i use I get max 12hours. It charges for over 3 hours most times. It cannot run CSR racing II. No Gyro sensors ... Wait no sensors at all. The only thing lovely about the phone phone is the shake thingy to change the wall papers and the price. But you are probably better of buying an entry level samsung than this phone. If you need a phone to read emails, sms and whatsapp + calls. Then it is brilliant. But please please please stop comparing it with main streams.The 13MP camera is not even as good as it claims to be.

They (Android) keep on failing.there is always some glych or teething issue. I keep hearing about wifi issues which worries me as I bought this phone as a back up to my lg g4 that has a 'known problem' with is chip. This p8 lite feels good in the hand and so lovely to use, but I fear there is a built in self destruct as with all the other Android phones out there beside Samsung
It pisses me off that you spend good money on these phones and your lucky to get over a year out of them before they become dysfunctional.fingers crossed. Again

I have had my phone for about 8 months now. It worked flawless for a while but coming from a Nexus 5 to this had its problems. The screen on this phone is not as sensitive when typing. Up until recently everything was perfect till all my photos got corrupt on the phone memory. They appeared as black with no thumbnail, my usual backup also got corrupted with this so was left with nothing. I called Huawei who could only say sorry. After reboot phone is okay but i am scared to take photos as the memory card also got corrupted. Both sides. I am now looking for a new phone but feel a bit put off..was thinking 5c.. but maybe not.

About the P8 Lite 2015 model its not worth it comparing with the 2 above.

U can find it in the last tab 'About ohone'. If it says 1 IMEI then your device doesn't support a 2nd Sim card but if it says 2 IMEIs then check if your Sim card is working on an other phone.

I managed to put sd card as primary st... moreMusic can be downloaded from PC to be sure there won't be any issues with your device since many applications on the playstore or the web may slow down your phone or even worse install a virus since downloading music is illegal. About the SD card there should be an option on the store manager.

hey spyros! I tried some stuff with the storage option. I managed to put sd card as primary storage for downloading stuff, then I downloaded music, but then it doesn't show that it is on sd card.. my sd card is still available and has no data on it. maybe I can download stuff on computer instead just plug the memory card on a reader and connect it to PC? do you know an application that can help me download music on the phone? Sad about the issue with storage.
tried spotify, but spotify needs access or membership so... I need something free. (T_T)

If it doesnt then the steps are (Hard reset will delete EVERYTHING from your phone, back up your data first) go to settings - advanced settings - back up and reset - factory data reset - RESET PHONE.
