Welcome to the free online texas hold 'em poker odds calculator. Simulate texas holdem poker situations and see the odds of a winning hand. The poker odds calculator is a useful tool in the study of hold 'em odds. Use the tool to calculate odds for any possible combination of known cards and unknown cards. This includes situations where you don't know the hands of your opponents!

Many good poker players place their opponents on a range of possible hands based on their opponents past game play and their current actions. Here you can specify any possible set of opening cards a player may have.
1. Select Player Number Here:
2. Select any possible set of suited cards, offsuit cards, or pocket pairs. You can then further constrain your selection based on suits by clicking the tab. Once you have done this, click the OK button at the bottom. You can then come back here and specify hand ranges for any of the players you like.

Here you can select suit combinations for any of your selections from the previous tab. Follow the steps as outlined below.
1. Select whether you want to select suits for offsuit cards, suited cards or pocket pairs.

2. Select which hands you want to select the possible suits for.

You can set suits for multiple options at once by selecting multiple options here while holding down the control key.
3. Select the possible suits for your selected hands:
4. Click the apply button to register the suits you just selected.

You can then check your selected hands below to see you have selected the right options.
5. You can now repeat these steps to select suits for other hands, or go back to the 'Opening Cards' tab to edit your opening card selections. If you are happy with your selected cards, click OK below.

To use the poker odds calculator:
  1. Select the number of opponents from the drop down box at the top left
  2. Select a card on the table
  3. Select a card in the deck to place on the selected table card.
  4. Continue to place cards on the table in this manner until you have set up the table cards as you want (you may have any combination of known and unknown cards set)
  5. Click the 'Calculate Odds' button and see the results appear in the results window
  6. To clear the table and to start again, click the 'Clear Table' button

Results: for each player with specified cards, the results will return:
  • %Win: The percentage of simulated rounds the player has won outright. This does not include rounds that were a tie.
  • %Tie: The percentage of simulated rounds the player has tied with other players
  • Odds: The odds of a loss vs a win. For example 2 to 1 would mean there are two lost rounds for each won round. A tie is devided between a win and a loss. For example, a two-way tie will count for half a win and half a loss.

The odds calculator performs a simulation where many thousands of rounds are dealt to the unknown cards. This is then used to calculate odds statistics. As the results are calculated from a simulation of thousands of rounds rather than an exhaustive calculation the odds will be an approximation of the true odds. If it is possible to calculate all possible deals in a reasonable time, the tool will do this rather than a random simulation.
